Suddenly, Anna walks into the room, and sees that Vic has found the stash of notes. Anna explains that she doesn't have many keepsakes of her late biological parent, so she kept all of Vic's notes in case she ever lost Vic too since Vic is so special to her. Vic is deeply moved, comforting Anna while assuring Anna that she won't be losing her anytime soon.
They both get emotional and embrace, with Vic giving Anna a familial peck on the lips. But Vic gets caught up in the moment and then accidentally makes the kiss more romantic.
